My qualifications

For more than 20 years I have been a systems or network manager engineer for several major international companies. I have also worked at various times as a contract technician so I have a lot of experience working on broken or defective systems and bringing them back at minimal cost.

Additional qualifications:

  • Microsoft Network Certification ( All core exams for MCSE passed)
  • Novell Network Certification (Netware 2.x3.x,6.x)
  • Novell networking Service and Support
  • CompTIA A+

The experience I have had in many computer shops was extremely discouraging. I found many of the owners, technicians, and others to be less than fully qualified, and money hungry on top of it. I like money too, but I don’t feel that gives me the right to charge what I regard as outrageous rates for “minimum bench charges”. I plan to help you for the lowest rate I can.

In fact, many of the more common problems can be addressed through e-mail without any muss or fuss. In fact I have several e-mail packages available for general use. These include answers to most of the questions I mentioned above but go into considerable detail. I will continue to update these guides as systems change and products evolve.
